BIG LOVE TO MY MAN JENKINS ON THIS. LET’S BE PRAYING FRIENDS!
jenkythinks:

regrettably, as with most tragedies that take place on some other place on the planet i struggle with apathy.  i want to be able to feel, in order to pray, that i might act.
this art was inspired by james white’s poster…

i designed it, hopefully to catch some eyes and lead some to feel something for a nation rocked by a tragedy unimaginable…that they might pray…and that they may act by giving.
there is a pastor in japan that i knew a while ago and friends of mine still know him well. his name is jeremiah boek and is currently serving as a pastor in japan with his family. he and his family were seperated for awhile when the tragedy struck but are now all together and safe and praying hard through this time.  i read this message from him written yesterday, for a recommendation for giving and prayer needs…
“Thank you for your concern and prayers. We are processing all of it in deep prayer and support of one another in the Lord. Today, we met together with about 60 folks from churches and mission organizations to begin relief efforts. An assessment team goes out tomorrow and we’ll be updating accordingly. Right now, donations are best sent to www.crashjapan.com and then will be distributed for the relief effort.”

so the best source i have recommends crashjapan.com for updates and giving oppurtunities. i am sure there are a bunch of others, but i will be using this one.
allow yourself to feel…
please pray…
and act, in giving of whatever talents or resources you have.
O That God may use this utterly heartbreaking time to reveal Himself to many! May His gospel shine forth like diamonds on black cloth!
